Actor Isaiah Washington took steps to mend fences with the gay community. Washington issued a public apology for making anti-gay comments and met with top-level executives from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
